Welcome to Zorek, a delightful café nestled in the heart of San Bruno at 799 El Camino Real. A fresh bloom from its previous life as a flower shop, Zorek has blossomed into a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This unassuming gem offers an inviting atmosphere combined with a unique menu that highlights the rich tapestry of Middle Eastern flavors.

As you step inside, the warm and cozy interior envelops you in a sense of comfort, perfect for both casual catch-ups and dedicated relaxation. The tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafts through the air, beckoning you to indulge. Zorek is a place where both traditional and contemporary café fare come together, inviting you to explore a menu bursting with intriguing options.

Kick your coffee experience off with one of their exceptional Espressos. The Pistachio Latte, while delicious, has been noted for its need of a bolder pistachio flavor, but when paired with a heavenly Hazelnut Chocolate Bake, it makes for a delightful combination. Or opt for the Cardamom Spice Latte—its warm spices create a cozy hug in a cup, as shared by customer Safia A, echoing a sentiment that resonates throughout Zorek's reviews.

But Zorek offers more than just exceptional coffee. Dive into their Mana’Eesh & More section, where dishes such as Beef Herbs and Muhammara And Cheese await, satisfying your craving for something savory. Reviewers have raved about the meat and herb börek, which not only reflects authentic Turkish taste but also comes beautifully plated with olives, pickles, and other fresh accompaniments. With generous portions, it's no wonder customers like Veronika Bailey have felt a wave of nostalgia for their culinary adventures abroad.

For those with a sweet tooth, Zorek’s Pastries segment is a treasure trove of delights. From the Pistachio Berry Twice Bake to Ube Twice Bake Croissant, each bite is a testament to the bakers' craft. Natasha Koval’s review reflects the joy of finding a café that pleases both adults and children alike, highlighting the Beef N’ Herbs dish as a parental victory, which is no minor accomplishment among picky eaters!

With curious coffee innovations and a carefully curated menu, Zorek is the new go-to spot for both your morning caffeine fix and leisurely brunches. Whether you're catching up with friends or simply enjoying a moment to yourself, the nurturing atmosphere and hospitable service will have you feeling right at home.

So why wait? Make your way to Zorek for an experience that tantalizes your taste buds while treating you to the robust hospitality that the San Bruno community prides itself on. Your new favorite café eagerly awaits.

Years ago this location was a flower shop—today it has blossomed into Zorek! I first went during opening week and tried the pistachio latte and sesame mochi muffin. Both items were good but I was craving more pistachio flavor in the latte. I went back a month later and tried their spinach feta borek and pistachio matcha latte ($22 total). I’m a fan! The borek was tasty and flakey and came with a soft boiled egg and veggies. The latte had a balanced, subtly sweet matcha pistachio flavor especially when you let the flavors settle for a few minutes. This will be my go-to drink from Zorek but will go back to try an espresso drink too. Overall, I’m excited to see this business flourish in San Bruno!

I’ve been wanting to come here and glad I tried it out! We tried the cardamom latte, cappuccino, and beef manakeesh. The coffee is so good and we also liked the manakeesh. Parking options are good too. We will be back!!

Unassuming little spot that’s I’ve passed as they’ve been working on it for months. It’s lovely inside, I’ve never had börek so similar to what I’ve eaten in Türkiye. I ordered the meat and herb börek, very tasty. Served with yummy olives, a pickle, tomatoes and a cucumber and an egg!! (In this economy?! So generous!!) I do wish they’d have some hot black tea to go with.

This place brought us back right back to Türkiye. I got the meat borek but it came mini-turkish breakfast style, with a soft boiled egg, one pickle, 4 olives, one mint leaf, one slice of cucumber, and one grape. I wanted to order the pistachio latte but they didn't have a lactose-free version so I was recommended the Raspberry rose latte and it was not only delicious but beautiful. Would come back for another slice of Türkiye. Would fly back if they served Lahmacun.

Mazra has done it again! Their new café in San Bruno is a total gem—serving up flakey, buttery borek and aromatic coffee with the same quality and hospitality we love from Mazra.

I’m so happy we have this new café, Zorek, in the neighborhood! The food is delicious and always fresh. The best part? My son finished a whole plate of Beef N’ Herbs and absolutely loved it - a rare win for any parent! The location is super convenient, which means I’ll be a regular and one very happy customer. Thank you for making such tasty meals for the whole family!

The food was pretty tasty! I loved the Kaymak and fig pastry I had. I also had a beef Borek which tasty delicious. I wouldn't say the food is out of this world, but it's really good overall! I liked the drinks as well especially the pistachio cloud. But if I were to give feedback I think the quality of the matcha or coffee could be better. Or it could be that the type of ice being used which are these small pebbles of ice which make the drinks overall very watery. I think the drinks would be much better with bigger ice cubes.
